show Abstracthide AbstractAlfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) a herbaceous legume, is perhaps one of the most economically important crops as it provides excellent quality livestock feed. Understanding, how alfalfa-associated rhizosphere-associated bacterial (RAB) communities work towards high-yield crops in agriculturally relevant conditions, a broad analysis is needed utilizing a variety of alfalfa species preferentially in a natural setting. In this study, we phylogenetically compared the RAB communities (16S rRNA gene) associated with the rhizosphere of four field-grown alfalfa lines.
